「生と死」をテーマにした連作《Memento Mori series》より。

レコードのA面、B面といったイメージで、《River B side -アキノユウグレ-》と対になるように描いた作品。背中に翅の生えた「トンボ男」がいのちの入ったBOXを運んでいる。「川」というモチーフは、三途の川に代表されるように、あちらとこちら、生と死といった異なる2つの概念の狭間を「隔てる」(あるいは「繋げる」)ための象徴だ。

From the series "Memento Mori series" with the theme of "life and death".

This is a work that I drew to be paired with "River B side -Akino Yuugure-" in the image of the A side and B side of a record. The "river" is a symbol for "separating" (or "connecting") the gap between two different concepts, such as here and there, life and death.

1995年栃木県生まれ
2018年多摩美術大学卒業
2019年に愛知県立芸術大学研究生を経て、2023年東京藝術大学大学院修了

“自己の内的イメージを掘り下げ、この世界の有り様を捉えること” をテーマに、〈シート壁画〉から、手製本した〈本〉の作品まで、技法や素材にとらわれない幅広い表現活動をおこなう。
